SINFONIA brings research team together at Kick-off meeting

The SINFONIA project officially started its activities with its Kick-off meeting, bringing together researchers from the various fields involved to define priorities, align objectives, and establish the foundations for the collaboration that will shape the years ahead.

This first gathering provided an opportunity to share perspectives, identify points of convergence, and reinforce the multidisciplinary character that distinguishes the project.

An integrated vision for complex challenges

During the meeting, SINFONIA’s main objectives were presented. The project seeks to address the impacts of climate change through an approach that brings together agricultural sustainability, food innovation, cultural heritage, and artistic practices.

The breadth of expertise represented within the project reflects the conviction that complex challenges require equally integrated responses capable of bringing science, culture, and society closer together.

Building interdisciplinary collaboration

The project’s different research strands and Work Packages were also highlighted, encouraging dialogue between teams and reflection on ways of connecting distinct scientific fields.

The discussions helped identify shared challenges, clarify coordination mechanisms, and establish a common vision for the implementation of the planned activities.
More than a formal introductory meeting, the Kick-off marked the beginning of a collaborative community built on the complementarity of knowledge and expertise.
By bringing together researchers from the natural sciences, health sciences, the arts, social sciences, and management, SINFONIA has taken its first steps on a journey that aims to generate knowledge and innovative solutions to address the challenges of climate adaptation.
